HOW DO YOU HELP THE COMMUNITY?

The mission at Starving Artist LLC, is that art should not only feed the spirit, but also serve the world around it. By organizing fundraising events that directly support local needs, collaborating with non-profits to amplify grassroots efforts, and volunteering our time and talents,  using creativity to make a difference. Through accessible art workshops, public programming, and creating space for expression, healing, and empowerment—especially for voices that are often unheard. In addition, a portion of every sale goes directly toward funding local organizations doing transformative work. This work bridges art and action, using creativity not just to inspire, but to ignite change.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY PAINTING?

Protecting Your Piece with Purpose

1. DO NOT TOUCH
Avoid touching the surface directly — especially if the work includes texture, gold leaf, or mixed media. Wear gloves when handling your artwork.

2. Avoid Direct Sunlight
Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading or warping. Hang your piece away from direct light or use UV-protective glass if framing.

.3. Maintain a Stable Environment
Keep your art in a space with stable temperature and humidity. Avoid hanging near fireplaces, heating vents, or in damp areas like bathrooms.

4. Dust Gently
If needed, dust lightly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Never use cleaning products or sprays near the artwork.

5. Frame with Care (if unframed)
If your piece arrives unframed, consider using archival or acid-free materials, and UV-protective glass for added longevity — especially for works on paper.

6. Store Safely
If you ever need to store your piece, keep it in a cool, dry place. Use acid-free tissue or archival materials, and avoid stacking artwork face-to-face.If you ever have questions about your piece or how to care for it, don’t hesitate to reach out. Your art is not just décor — it’s a living expression, and you’re part of its story now.
