Pareidolia marks the beginning of a new artistic journey. Created from my very first acrylic pour, it was also the first time I enhanced the natural flow of paint to reveal the images hidden within it. Inspired by the phenomenon of pareidolia—the tendency to perceive meaningful forms in random patterns—the painting invites viewers to slow down, explore, and discover a universe of infinite possibilities through their own imagination.

 Containing the PourThe sculpted border served a dual purpose, acting as both a compositional element and a barrier that contained the original acrylic pour. As the paint flowed against its raised edges, the movement of the composition was naturally guided by the surrounding form. |
 Built Around the ChildThe child was painted before the acrylic pour was created, allowing the flowing paint to move around and partially over the figure. This layering process integrates the child into the composition, making it appear as though the swirling universe formed around them rather than being added afterward. |
 Fragments of the PastFragments of previous paintings were incorporated into the composition as custom stickers, preserving pieces of earlier works within a new creation. Additional areas were finished with a high-gloss medium to blend seamlessly with the embedded fragments, creating the illusion that they too are layered stickers woven throughout the painting.
